My Mini Explorers is an ethical brand who only uses GOTS certified organic cotton jersey to make all of our handmade clothing. All of our fabric is printed right here in the UK supporting other independent makers and small businesses. All fabric is printed with non-toxic eco-friendly pigment based inks reducing the amount of water used in the manufacturing process.

All of our fabric is perfect for babies soft sensitive delicate skin giving new and experienced mums peace of mind when dressing their baby or child in My Mini Explorers clothing.

We recommend to machine wash all items on a cool gentle/delicate setting using a phosphate free detergent where possible to help prolong the life of your clothing.

Ensure poppers are done up before placing into the machine to avoid the poppers catching in the washing machine drum.

Remove faux fur pom poms from hats prior to washing. If the pom gets dirty, we recommend a cool gentle wash by hand and leave to air dry.

Always line dry where possible and use a medium iron setting.

After the first wash, some minimal shrinkage may occur. This is normal as fabric is not pre-washed. However this shrinkage is taken to account when sizing your items.

All of our dribble bibs are backed with bamboo towelling which is luxuriously soft, highly absorbent, and naturally antibacterial — making them perfect for delicate baby skin. Bamboo is an eco-friendly, sustainable fabric which is hypoallergenic, odour-resistant, and helps regulate body temperature, keeping little ones cosy in winter and cool in summer. Durable and long-lasting, bamboo towelling stays beautifully soft wash after wash, making it an ideal choice for baby bibs.

All of our printed t-shirts are made from 100% cotton, making them a lovely breathable fabric to keep littles ones temperatures regulated.

Handmade leggings, rompers, dresses and accessories - All items that I hand make are made from 95% organic cotton / 5% elastane, giving your mini explorers lots of room to explore and stretch. The only exceptions to this are our blankets which are 100% polyester making them super soft and cosy.

All of our Swaddle Blankets are made from 100% organic cotton and soften with each wash making them an essential at feeding or nursing time.
